Hello my name is Maggie Lee. I am 21 years old and have just finished my undergraduate studies at an art school in Brooklyn. For the past four years, a windowless storage closet in New York has been my place of residence. Here, on my bed, a photocopier snuggles me while a pile of papers keeps me warm at night. During the day I work on my zine called Frenching, an idiosyncratic visual diaristic publication on crazy, sexy, cool and wayward youth. Frenching is also the concept behind this series of romantic portraits.
